Abstract

Se hace un informe pormenorizado de las carreteras que se están construyendo en el período 1871-1872. Presenta un análisis de la importancia de construir ferrocarriles para el desarrollo del país y muestra el éxito de éste sistema de transporte en diferentes países. Hace un resumen de la importancia que tendría para Colombia construir un canal interoceánico y al final presenta una estadística de comercio exterior para el mismo período.
