Abstract

Hace una reseña histórica de la primera Casa de Moneda establecida en el país. Se muestra la cantidad de tierras baldías existentes, describe la acuñación de los diferentes tipos de monedas, el valor y el costo de producción de las mismas, hace seguimiento contable de la deuda pública y externa de Colombia en 1859.
