Ciclos crediticios, riesgo de crédito y provisiones contracíclicas

Se analiza el crédito en Colombia, concluyendo que cuando la competencia se eleva los bancos alteran las políticas de crédito para reportar ingresos más altos que los de los otros bancos, lo cual hace que surjan fallas de coordinación y los bancos incrementen el riesgo crediticio y por lo tanto deben introducir provisiones para el riesgo crediticio.
