Abstract

Nombra los pioneros de la industria del petróleo en el país, describe las regiones donde hay yacimientos del crudo, analiza los problemas para la exploración por la topografía, hace una historia de las concesiones petroleras desde el comienzo del siglo XIX, presenta la legislación sobre minas petroleras, hace un cálculo de los costos y condiciones para el trabajo en un campo petrolero en Colombia.
