Abstract

Discusión sobre el pensamiento de Kemmerer el cual formó parte de la institucionalidad colombiana a partir de la ley 25 de 1923 por la cual se creó el Banco de la República, la organización, la administración, los objetivos, las funciones, las características como banco de Reserva, la relación con otros bancos y con el gobierno.||*Este capítulo se encuentra incluido en la segunda parte del libro Pensamiento y política monetaria en Colombia 1886-1945, titulada "El pensamiento económico de Kemmerer y su influjo en la reforma financiera de 1923"
