Abstract

Este capítulo trata sobre lo innegable que este gobierno ha efectuado un verdadero "revolcón" estructural en materia económica, transformando el país por estándares colombianos, donde estamos acostumbrado al gradual ismo en materia económica, a lo que este gobierno ya llevara varios años. También explica que las oportunidades y los problemas asociados con la privatización del manejo de las pensiones son de tal magnitud, y los intereses creados en tormo al sistema vigente son tan fuertes, que sería iluso aspirar al establecimiento de un rápido consenso sobre el tema, y en el próximo futuro éste será uno de los temas más candentes de la política económica, por razones de espacio, y porque en este foro pretendemos lograr una visión suficientemente comprensiva del problema de la privatización, dejaremos en este punto nuestros comentarios con respecto a la privatización de las pensiones pero anif (asociación nacional de instituciones financieras) seguirá ocupándose activamente de ese tema durante 1992, por considerar que hay muy pocos, si acaso alguno, de mayor importancia para el futuro del país
