Abstract

En la primera parte de este capítulo se explica sobre una revisión histórica de la situación en Jamaica, centrada en los objetivos gubernamentales del programa de privatización del National Cornmercial Bank (ncb) y en el equipo que lo adelantó, al cual se debe gran parte del éxito del proceso y en la segunda parte se detallará la oferta pública del ncb, para luego sintetizar las lecciones de esta experiencia.
