Abstract

Historia del manejo monetario durante el período de 1810 a 1923. En 1880 se creó el Banco Nacional al cual se le asignó el derecho exclusivo de la emisión de billetes, se creó la legislación sobre el papel moneda y la moneda metálica y el establecimiento de una Junta de Emisión.||*Este capítulo se encuentra incluido en la I parte del libro Historia del Banco de la República 60 años, titulada "Historia y evolución de la Banca Central y de la moneda con anterioridad a la creación del Banco de la República"
