Abstract

El Banco de la República tiene como objetivo general propiciar las condiciones favorables para el logro de un crecimiento económico, con sana estabilidad, actuando en el campo monetario, crediticio y cambiario. El documento describe las actividades que realiza para cumplir el objetivo.||*Este capítulo se encuentra incluido en la V parte del libro Historia del Banco de la República 60 años, titulada "El Banco de la República en el panorama económico y en la actividad cultural de la Nación"
