Abstract

Thie routine provides access to the Next Generation SSC Archive. It is a drop-in replacement for the system-provided ssc command, allowing installation of date-specific snapshots of packages from a mirror of the SSC archive. It adds a date() option that selects a snapshot of SSC as of that date, and a from() option to point at an alternative mirror. Where nothing snapshot-specific is requested, ssc2 executes the official ssc command.
