Sozial-ökologische Ratings am Kapitalmarkt: Transparenzstudie zur Beschreibung konkurrierender Konzepte zur Nachhaltigkeitsmessung auf deutschsprachigen Finanzmärkten

Abstract

Immer mehr Kapitalanleger wollen ihr Geld nachhaltig investieren. Ebenso sind Pensionsfonds im Rahmen der Riester-Rente verpflichtet, offen zu legen, inwieweit sie ihre Anlagestrategien an sozial-ökologischen Kriterien ausrichten. Doch woher weiß man, welche Unternehmen sich in ihrer sozialen Performanz besonders auszeichnen? In jüngster Zeit stellen spezielle Ratingagenturen hierfür Informationen bereit. Analog zum finanziellen Rating werden von diesen Dienstleistern die sozialen undökologischen Leistungen von Unternehmen bewertet. Hierfür benutzen sie unterschiedliche, teilweise konkurrierende Kriterien und Bewertungsverfahren - beispielsweise in Bezug auf gesellschaftliches Engagement, Gesundheit und Sicherheit am Arbeitsplatz, Chancengleichheit und Frauenförderung, Mitbestimmung und Mitarbeiterbeteiligung. Die Studie 'Sozial-ökologische Ratings am Kapitalmarkt' analysiert die einzelnen Anbieter im deutschsprachigen Raum und schafft damit erstmalig Transparenzüber deren Bewertungssysteme. Zudem wird aufgezeigt, inwiefern Beschäftigte und Arbeitnehmervertreterinnen von diesem Thema berührt sind.
