Tarifvertragliche Regelungen zur Teilzeitarbeit: Auswertung ausgewählter Tarifverträge

Abstract

Die Untersuchung gibt einen Einblick in die tarifliche Ausgestaltung der Teilzeitarbeit vor Einführung des Teilzeit- und Befristungsgesetzes. Untersucht werden die Förderung der Teilzeitarbeit, die Arbeits- und Entgeltbedingungen und die konkreten Verfahren der Umwandlung von Arbeitsplätzen in Teilzeit.Ziele der Teilzeitarbeit sind die Verbesserung der Vereinbarkeit von Beruf und außerberufIichen Interessen, die Flexibilisierung der Arbeitszeit, die Schaffung neuer und die Sicherung bestehender Arbeitsplätze sowie die Reduzierung der beruflichen Belastungen für ältere Arbeitnehmer. Sozialversicherungsklauseln sowie die Vorgabe von Mindestarbeitszeiten sollen die Beschäftigten vor einer Reduzierung der Arbeitszeit auf das Niveau geringfügiger Arbeitsverhältnisse schützen. Gefördert wird die Einführung von Teilzeit durch Rückkehrmöglichkeiten, Befristungen der Teilzeit sowie Ausgleichszahlungen.Diese Auswertung mit vielen wörtlichen Zitaten gibt zahlreiche Hinweise für die Ausgestaltung von Teilzeitarbeit.
