Was Menschen über Mitbestimmung denken: Empirische Analysen

Abstract

Wie stehen die Menschen in Deutschland zur Mitbestimmung? Aus vielen Untersuchungen ergibt sich, dass die Deutschen die Mitbestimmung sehr positiv bewerten. Doch klassische Einstellungsbefragungen unterstellen, dass die Befragten dasselbe unter "Mitbestimmung" verstehen, und bergen die Gefahr, dass die Fragen auch die Antworten prägen. Diese Studie hat deshalb zunächst nach spontanen Assoziationen zum Begriff "Mitbestimmung" gefragt. Daraus entsteht ein differenziertes Bild, was Menschen mit Mitbestimmung verbinden, was sie darüber wissen und wie sie zu ihrer positiven Bewertung kommen.
