Wohlstandsverteilung in Deutschland 1978-1993

Abstract

Die vorliegende Studie untersucht drei Aspekte der Wohlstandsverteilung in Deutschland: Die Verteilung der Grundvermögen, der Geldvermögen und der Einkommen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Analyse der Verteilung der Grundvermögen und der Geldvermögen. Hier werden zentrale neue Erkenntnisse erarbeitet. Bei der Analyse der Einkommensverteilung steht die Kritik an den üblicherweise verwendeten Einkommenskonzepten und daran anknüpfend die Relativierung von Ergebnissen zur Einkommensverteilung im Vordergrund. Die größten Verteilungsunterschiede bestehen bei den Grundvermögen der Haushalte. Die Geldvermögensbestände sind ebenfalls sehr ungleichmäßig verteilt, jedoch sind die Unterschiede hier weniger stark ausgeprägt als bei den Grundvermögen.
