Digitaler Treibstoff: Chancen und Risiken des Einsatzes digitaler Technologien und Medien im Mobilitätssektor

Abstract

Die Digitalisierung ist in aller Munde. In den öffentlichen und politischen Diskursen wie in der wissenschaftlichen Debatte wird verzweifelt versucht, mit der rasant verlaufenden faktischen Entwicklung der Transformation aller Lebensbereiche durch den flächendeckenden und systematischen Einsatz digitaler Medien und Technologien analytisch und diskursiv Schritt zu halten. Im Vordergrund stehen zurzeit die rechtlich-politischen Dimensionen der informationellen Selbstbestimmung, der Datensicherheit und der herrschaftstheoretisch potenziell hoch problematischen Manipulierbarkeit von Menschen als Kundinnen und Kunden wie als Wahlbürgern1 mithilfe digitaler Technologien. Darüber hinaus wird sehr intensiv über die Transformation von Produktionsformen und Märkten sowie ihre potenziellen Beschäftigungseffekte diskutiert (Industrie 4.0). Nur nachrangig, wenn überhaupt, geht es um ökologische Fragen der Ressourcenintensität, der möglichen Reboundeffekte und Fragen der Angreifbarkeit bzw. Resilienz von komplexen digital vernetzten Infrastrukturen.
