Abstract

Die Arbeitszeiten von (hoch-)qualifizierten Angestellten ist ein Thema, mit dem mehr und mehr Betriebsräte konfrontiert sind. Stichworte sind Arbeiten ohne Ende oder Burn-Out. Gleichzeitig ist die Interessenvertretung für diese Arbeitnehmer/innengruppe schwierig, da deren Interessen und Wünsche sehr vielfältig sind und von einer starken Arbeitsorientierung geprägt werden. Eine Beschäftigtenbefragung kann wichtige Hinweise dafür geben, wie die Kolleg/innen ihre Arbeitszeiten wahrnehmen, wo sie Probleme und Handlungsbedarfe sehen und welche Wünsche sie an eine Neureglung stellen.Am Beispiel eines Elektronikunternehmens, in dem der Betriebsrat eine beteiligungsorientierte Neugestaltung der Arbeitszeiten anstrebt, werden die unterschiedlichen Entscheidungen und Arbeitsschritte einer Beschäftigtenbefragung nachvollzogen. Checklisten und Tipps für die Durchführung von Befragungen sowie zur Konstruktion von Fragebögen bieten Unterstützung.Literaturhinweise und Links, die eine vertiefende Beschäftigung mit den Themen ermöglichen, sowie der Fragebogen, ergänzen die Darstellung.
