Zukunft der Berufsausbildung

Abstract

Die andauernde Unterversorgung der Nachfrage nach betrieblichen Ausbildungsplätzen, die Herausforderungen durch die europäische Berufsbildungspolitik und die Anforderungen von Wissensökonomie und Bildungsgesellschaft sind Thema einer kontroversen wissenschaftlichen und politischen Debatte zur Reform der Berufsbildung in Deutschland. Vor diesem Hintergrund organisierte die Hans-Böckler-Stiftung im Februar 2009 eine Diskussion zwischen den unterschiedlichen analytischen Ansätzen und Gestaltungsoptionen. Damit wird der Blick über das "Duale Kernmilieu" der Berufsbildung hinaus auf die Berufsbildung insgesamt ausgeweitet: auf die vollschulische Ausbildung und auf das "Übergangssystem".Ist für die berufliche Bildung ein Paradigmenwechsel hin zu wissenschaftlich orientiertem Lernen nötig oder muss im Gegenteil erfahrungsgeleitetes betriebliches Lernen als eigenständiger Bildungstypus gestärkt werden, um sowohl wirtschaftliche Leistungsfähigkeit zu erhalten als auch persönliche Entwicklungsperspektiven zu verbessern? Die Beiträge dieses Bandes versuchen darauf Antwort zu geben.
