Internationale Bildungsanbieter auf dem deutschen Markt

Abstract

Seit Jahren drängen mehrere Staaten in den GATS-Verhandlungen der Welthandelsorganisation darauf, den Handel mit Bildungsdienstleistungen international zu öffnen. Bereits heute ist Bildung eine international gehandelte Dienstleistung. Das gilt, befördert durch die Entwicklung des einheitlichen europäischen Bildungsraumes, besonders für die EU, aber auch darüber hinaus.Die vorliegende explorative Studie ist die zweite dieser Art. Bereits 2002 wurden erste Fallstudien durchgeführt und von der Hans-Böckler-Stiftung veröffentlicht. Sie werden hiermit fortgeschrieben und um weitere Fallstudien ergänzt. Untersucht werden 28 internationale, in Deutschland tätige Bildungsträger und ihre Angebote in der beruflichen Bildung, von der Ausbildung über das Studium bis zur Weiterbildung. Geprüft werden die rechtlichen und bildungspolitischen Bedingungen der Tätigkeit.
