BGM in Krisenzeiten. Herausforderungen, Entwicklungen und Potenziale in der deutschen Arbeitswelt: eine quantitative Studie

Abstract

Der Fach- und Führungskräftemangel sowie steigende gesundheitliche Belastungen, insbesondere resultierend in psychischen Erkrankungen und Atemwegserkrankungen, stellen erhebliche Herausforderungen für Unternehmen in Deutschland dar. Der seit 2022 deutlich erhöhte Krankenstand verschärft den Druck auf Betriebe, sowohl die Mitarbeitendenbindung zu stärken als auch ihre Attraktivität als Arbeitgeber zu steigern. In diesem Kontext gewinnt ein effektives Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement (BGM) an strategischer Bedeutung. Es fördert die Gesundheit, Leistungsfähigkeit und Motivation der Beschäftigten und trägt gleichzeitig zur Reduktion krankheitsbedingter Ausfallzeiten sowie zum Employer Branding bei. Eine gemeinsame Studie der FOM Hochschule und der BARMER Krankenkasse analysiert die Verbreitung und den aktuellen Entwicklungstand des BGM in Deutschland, insbesondere im Hinblick auf die durch die COVID-19- Pandemie bedingten Veränderungen. Die breit gefächerte, repräsentative Studie (n=1717) in der deutschen Arbeitsbevölkerung sowie unter Fach- und Führungskräften aus BGM und BGF (n=269) soll Unternehmen dazu anregen, resiliente und gesundheitsförderliche Arbeitsstrukturen zu entwickeln und zu verstärken.
