Geld für den Wandel: Wie die grüne Transformation der Wirtschaft und des Energiesektors finanziert werden kann

Abstract

Die europäische Wirtschaft befindet sich noch immer in einem schlechten Zustand, die Eurokrise ist längst noch nicht ausgestanden, der Klimawandel nicht gebremst. Eine Antwort auf diese Herausforderungen wäre eine nachhaltige Ökonomie, die auf Erneuerbare Energien, ein hohes Maß an Ressourceneffizienz und auf die Wiederverwertung kostbarer Rohstoffe setzt. Dies könnte eine nachhaltige wirtschaftliche Erholung vorantreiben, neue Arbeitsplätze schaffen, die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit erhöhen und Europa an die Spitze der nächsten industriellen Revolution setzen. Doch dazu sind Innovationen und Investitionen im großen Stil erforderlich. Die Finanzierung ist der entscheidende Punkt, denn bisher fehlt das Geld für diese grüne Transformation. Die Beiträge der Expertinnen und Experten in diesem Band beschreiben und analysieren die Wege und Chancen zur Finanzierung des notwendigen Wandels. Mit einem Mix aus öffentlichen Investitionen, attraktiven Rahmenbedingungen und funktionierenden Kreditmärkten könnte er gelingen.
