Neue Forschungsverständnisse in den Sozialwissenschaften: Konsequenzen für die Berufsbildungsforschung im Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung

Abstract

In den Sozialwissenschaften wird seit einiger Zeit ein verändertes Profil anwendungsorientierer Forschung diskutiert. In diesem Forschungsverständnis wird Forschung als eine innovationszentrierte und transdisziplinär ausgerichtete Forschungsaktivität verstanden, die in einem breiten institutionellen Spektrum von universitären und außeruniversitären Instituten und im Rahmen von verschiedenen Wissenschaftsdisziplinen ausgeübt wird. Theorie und Praxis rücken in diesem Verständnis in ein neues Verhältnis. Im Rahmen eines BIBB-Workshops zu neuen Forschungsverständnissen in den Sozialwissenschaften im April 2007 wurden verschiedene Ansätze und Sichtweisen zur Profilierung eines anwendungs- und zugleich gestaltungsorientierten Selbstverständnisses der Berufsbildungsforschung sowie zu den Kriterien der Forschungsarbeit, ihrer Güte und Relevanz, vorgetragen. Die einzelnen Beiträge hierzu werden in dem vorliegenden Diskussionspapier veröffentlicht. (Hrsg., BIBB-Doku)
