Abstract

Mit der Veröffentlichung des Abschlussberichtes schliesst das Forschungsprojekt "Evaluation der Büroberufe" des Bundesinstituts für Berufsbildung (www.bibb.de) ab. Seit 1991/ 92 kann in den neugeordneten Büroberufen Bürokaufleute (Industrie, Handel und Handwerk), Bürokaufleute für Bürokommunikation (Industrie und Handel), Fachangestellte für Bürokommunikation (Öffentlicher Dienst) ausgebildet werden. Die Evaluation der Ausbildungsordnungen soll Aufschluss darüber bringen, ob und inwieweit die Ziele und Intentionen der Neuordnung der Büroberufe in der Ausbildungspraxis von Betrieb und Berufsschule sowie in den Prüfungen umgesetzt werden. Sie soll zeigen, wie Qualifikationen verwertet werden und inwieweit die Ausbildungsordnungen anforderungsgerecht gestaltet sind. Der Abschlussbericht zur Evaluation des Ausbildungsberufes Fachangestellter für Bürokommunikation umfasst den Stand der Forschungsergebnisse und basiert im empirischen Teil auf den Ergebnissen der repräsentativen schriftlichen Befragung in Betrieben und der Fallstudien in ausgewählten Betrieben. Die Ergebnisse zeigen insgesamt eine hohe Akzeptanz des Ausbildungsberufes im öffentlichen Dienst, ausserhalb des öffentlichen Dienstes finden Absolventen dieses Berufs jedoch unklare Beschäftigungsperspektiven. Fehlende kaufmännische und betriebswirtschaftliche Ausbildungsinhalte werden als Haupthindernis für berufliche Mobilität genannt, ferner der mangelnde Bekanntheitsgrad des Ausbildungsberufes.
