Abstract

In diesem Bericht wird die Entwicklung neuer, digitaler Technologien in Bezug auf Menschen mit Behinderung - insbesondere Menschen mit Taubblindheit - betrachtet. Neue Technologien können Menschen mit Behinderungen zahlreiche Möglichkeiten der digitalen und auch der beruflichen Teilhabe bieten. Gleichzeitig birgt die technologische Entwicklung und Digitalisierung neue Risiken der Nichtteilhabe. Insbesondere Menschen mit geistigen Behinderungen oder psychischen Erkrankungen haben ein erhöhtes Exklusionsrisiko. Der Bericht ist eine Bestandsaufnahme der rechtlichen und politischen Lage in Deutschland und gibt Aufschluss darüber, wie Technologien bei Menschen mit Behinderung eingesetzt werden und welche Herausforderungen hierbei noch zu bewältigen sind.
