Ausbildung in der Heilerziehungspflege: Ein Bundesländervergleich 2020

Abstract

Heilerziehungspfleger/-innen sind für Menschen in behindernden Lebenslagen, die eine Assistenz für ein selbstbestimmtes Leben benötigen, unverzichtbar. Und doch bleiben Ausbildung und Tätigkeit dieser Fachkräfte weitgehend unter dem Radar. Bundeslandspezifische Unterschiede in der Ausbildung erschweren einen Gesamtblick auf die für Teilhabe in der Gesellschaft so wichtige Berufsgruppe. Ordnungspolitisch sind aktuell mit der Vorbereitung eines verbindlichen Qualifikationsprofils die Weichen für eine Modernisierung der Berufsbildung in der Heilerziehungspflege gestellt. Vor diesem Hintergrund dient die vorliegende Studie als Bestandsaufnahme des Jahres 2020. Sie beschreibt den Stand der Ausbildung zu diesem Zeitpunkt in den einzelnen Bundesländern sowie die Entwicklung der Auszubildendenzahlen.
