Ausbildung in Zeiten von Corona: Ergebnisse einer empirischen Studie zu Auswirkungen der Corona-Pandemie auf Ausbildungsbetriebe

Abstract

Die Corona-Pandemie mit ihren vielfältigen wirtschaftlichen Folgen ist eine große Herausforderung für die duale Berufsausbildung. Nicht zuletzt mussten auch die Berufsschulen bzw. die meisten ihrer Klassen aufgrund der Kontaktbeschränkungen während der ersten Corona-Welle 2020 schließen. Eine Befragung von Ausbildungsleitungen zeigt, wie sehr und mit welchen Mitteln sich die Betriebe in dieser Zeit der Lage stellten. Die Auszubildenden gingen zu großen Teilen weiter in die Betriebe, wenn es möglich war, dort auf die Einhaltung der Abstandsregen zu achten. Auch Homeoffice wurde für die Weiterführung der betrieblichen Ausbildung genutzt, jedoch seltener. Teilweise fehlte hierfür die technische Ausstattung. Insgesamt betrachtet zeigen die Ergebnisse der Betriebsbefragung jedoch, dass trotz der massiven Einschränkungen in den Betrieben die Ausbildung grundsätzlich weitergeführt werden konnte.
