Abstract

Die vorzeitige Lösung von Ausbildungsverträgen und Ausbildungsabbrüche in der dualen Berufsausbildung stellen zentrale bildungspolitische Themen dar. Auch wenn nicht alle Vertragslösungen vermeidbar sind, Misserfolge darstellen oder zu einem Ausbildungsabbruch führen, kommt ihnen aufgrund resultierender Kosten, die im ungünstigsten Fall den Bildungsausstieg bedeuten können, besondere Relevanz zu. Nach einem Überblick über den Forschungsstand und einer Differenzierung verschiedener Aspekte, die hinter solchen Vertragslösungen stehen können, erläutert die Autorin die Datengrundlage, die Analysemöglichkeiten und Befunde auf Basis der Berufsbildungsstatistik. Abschließend werden die Problemlagen, Maßnahmen zur Reduktion von Vertragslösungen und künftige Datenerfordernisse diskutiert. (Autorenreferat, BIBB-Doku)
