Abstract

Das vorliegende Diskussionspapier dokumentiert die Beiträge des Expertenworkshops "Methods and Instruments for the Evaluation and Monitoring of VET Systems", der am 10. und 11. Dezember 2009 in Königswinter stattfand und vom Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung (BIBB) ausgerichtet wurde. Die drei Hauptthemenstränge, die während des Workshops von einem internationalen Expertenkreis diskutiert wurden, waren: 1. Systemevaluation: Allgemeiner Überblick über bereits verfügbare Analysen zur Genese und Entwicklung von Berufsbildungssystemen. 2. Indikatoren und Benchmarks: Monitoring des "Status Quo" und Fokussierung auf bestimmte Ziele als Instrumente der internationalen Vergleichsforschung und der Beratung nationaler politischer Entscheidungsträger; 3. Peer review und peer learning: Als Ergänzung zu evidenzbasierten Ansätzen auf der Basis von Statistiken und streng festgelegten Methoden der Datenerhebung werden "peer review" und "peer learning" als Möglichkeiten gesehen, die Meinung von Experten durch "Besuche vor Ort" einzuholen.
