Die BIBB/BAuA-Erwerbstätigenbefragung 2006: Methodik und Frageprogramm im Vergleich zur BIBB/IAB-Erhebung 1998

Abstract

Die BIBB/BAuA-Erwerbstätigenbefragung 2006 schließt konzeptionell an die vom BIBB und dem IAB durchgeführten BIBB/IAB-Erhebungen an, die 1979 erstmals konzipiert wurden, um Lücken in der amtlichen Statistik zu schließen. 1998/99 wurde die bisher letzte BIBB/IAB-Erhebung erstmals computerunterstützt durchgeführt. Das Konzept der Erwerbstätigenbefragungen Kernvariablen und wechselnde Schwerpunkte" wurde auch 2006 beibehalten. In der BIBB/BAuA-Erwerbstätigenbefragung 2006 lagen die Schwerpunkte bei den Themen "Arbeitsbedingungen und -belastungen (BAuA) und "Ausbildungsadäquanz der Erwerbstätigkeit (BIBB). Die Erhebungsmethode wurde aus verschiedenen Gründen con CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interview) auf CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interview) umgestellt. Der vorliegende Bericht informiert in Kapitel 2 über die Methodik der Erhebung. Hier werden u.a. die im Vorfeld der Erhebung durchgeführten Pretests zur Umstellung von CAPI auf CATI beschrieben. Kapitel 3 informiert über neue und veränderte Merkmale im Vergleich zur BIBB/IAB-Erhebung 1998. Der Methodenwechsel erforderte es, Fragen und Antwortkategorien an die Gesprächssituation am Telefon anzupassen. Kapitel 4 schließt mit einigen Hinweisen ab, die bei Zeitvergleichen mit den BIBB/IAB-Erhebungen eine Rolle spielen. (BIBB-Doku)
