Ältere Beschäftigte und betriebliche Weiterbildung: Ergebnisse des CVTS3

Abstract

Der vorliegende Bericht gibt einen Überblick über die Beteiligung der 55-jährigen und älteren Beschäftigten an betrieblichen Weiterbildungskursen (BWBK) in Europa. Datengrundlage ist der dritte Continuing Vocational Training Survey (CVTS3). Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Weiterbildungsbeteiligung der älteren Beschäftigten in Europa sehr unterschiedlich ausfällt. Durchschnittlich besuchte jede/r vierte ältere Beschäftigte BWBK, in weiterbildenden Unternehmen war es jede/r dritte. Deutschland rangiert im unteren Mittelfeld und liegt damit hinter fast allen nord- und westeuropäischen Staaten. Ferner geben die CVTS3-Daten Aufschlüsse über erste Zusammenhänge bei der vorliegenden Weiterbildungsbeteiligung. So zeigt sich, dass in Unternehmen mit mehr Beschäftigten häufiger an BWBK teilgenommen wurde. Auch der Wirtschaftszweig spielt eine entscheidende Rolle. (Autorenreferat, BIBB-Doku)
