Die regionalwirtschaftlichen Verflechtungen einer geplanten Investition in die Erzeugung erneuerbarer Energie aus Wasserkraft in Kärnten. Eine Kurzstudie für die Kärntner Elektrizitäts-Aktiengesellschaft (KELAG)

Abstract

Die Kärntner Elektrizitäts-Aktiengesellschaft (KELAG) plant eine Kapazitätserweiterung ihrer Kraftwerksgruppe Fragant. Die vorliegende Kurzanalyse soll die regionalwirtschaftlichen Effekte dieser geplanten Investition abschätzen helfen. Eine Abschätzung dieser Effekte mit dem WIFO-Regionalmodell ASCANIO ergibt, dass die Investitionssumme von 200 Mio. € im Produktionsprozess mit einer heimischen Wertschöpfung von rund 120 Mio. € verbunden ist (80 Mio. € davon in Kärnten selbst). Einschließlich Einkommenseffekten erhöht sich die mit der Investitionssumme verbundene Wertschöpfung in Österreich auf 220 Mio. € (wovon 100 Mio. € für Kärnten geschätzt werden).
