Neue europäische Industrie-, Innovations- und Technologiepolitik (NIIT). Eine Diskussion zentraler Aspekte mit Blick auf Österreich

Abstract

Um sich dauerhaft als eigenständiges Politikfeld zu bewähren, muss die Neue Industrie-, Innovations- und Technologiepolitik (NIIT) nicht nur alte Fehler vermeiden, sondern sich konsequent über ihren Beitrag zur Lösung der großen wirtschaftlichen und gesellschaftlichen Herausforderungen definieren. Einer kritischen Analyse der Entwicklung der europäischen Industriepolitik folgen daher die Ergebnisse von Workshops mit Stakeholdern zu drei ausgewählten Schwerpunkten: 1. Veränderungen des europäischen Beihilferechts im Kontext der "Important Projects of Common European Interest" (IPCEI), 2. eine industriepolitische Einschätzung der CO 2 -Grenzausgleichsmechanismen, sowie 3. Fragen der digitalen und technologischen Souveränität.
