Ein Regionales Tourismus-Satellitenkonto für Tirol. Erstimplementierung für das Berichtsjahr 2018

Abstract

Der Tourismus ist für Tirol ein wichtiger Wirtschaftsfaktor: Laut dem von Statistik Austria und WIFO entwickelten regionalen Tourismus-Satellitenkonto beliefen sich die Gesamtaufwendungen für Urlaubs- und Geschäftsreisen, Verwandten- und Bekanntenbesuche sowie Aufenthalte an Zweitwohnsitzen und in Wochenendhäusern 2018 auf 8.332 Mio. €. Davon entfielen 76,4% auf ausländische Besucher und Besucherinnen, 23,4% auf inländische Reisende und 0,2% auf die Ausgaben im Zuge des Aufenthaltes in Zweitwohnungen. Die durch den Tourismus in Tirol direkt erwirtschaftete Wertschöpfung machte einschließlich geschäftlicher Reisen 2018 5.215 Mio. € und einen Anteil am Bruttoregionalprodukt von 14,9% aus. Zusammen mit den indirekten Effekten trug der Tourismus 2018 19,7% zur regionalen Wirtschaftsleistung Tirols bei. Zudem waren im Bundesland 2018 unmittelbar 51.600 Vollzeitstellen den charakteristischen Tourismusindustrien zurechenbar (14,6% an der Gesamtbeschäftigung). Über alle Wirtschaftsbereiche hinweg hingen direkt und indirekt 68.600 Vollzeitäquivalente bzw. 19,4% aller Arbeitsplätze in Tirol mit dem Tourismus zusammen.
