Baubewilligungen für neue Wohneinheiten in Österreich. Prognose Winter 2020

Abstract

Das WIFO prognostiziert für 2020 einen deutlichen Rückgang der bewilligten Wohneinheiten um etwa 7.300 Einheiten. Er entfällt zum großen Teil auf den Mehrgeschoßbau und macht dort die Zugewinne von 2019 weitgehend wett. Auch die Bewilligungen von Ein- und Zweifamilienhäusern dürften 2020 rückläufig sein. 2021 stagnieren beide Bereiche. Die Zahl der Baubewilligungen wird laut Prognose 2021 weiterhin über 55.000 Einheiten liegen. Die prognostizierte Abnahme der Baubewilligungen kündigte sich bereits vor Ausbruch der COVID-19-Krise an, die Maßnahmen zur Eindämmung der Pandemie haben derzeit vorwiegend eine Aufschiebung der Bautätigkeit zur Folge.
