Die österreichischen Unternehmen in der COVID-19-Pandemie. Ergebnisse der Sonderfragen des WIFO-Konjunkturtests

Abstract

Im WIFO-Konjunkturtest vom April wurden Sonderfragen zur COVID-19-Pandemie gestellt. Wie die Befragungsergebnisse zeigen, hat die Mehrzahl der Unternehmen auf die negativen Auswirkungen der COVID-19-Krise bereits mit Maßnahmen reagiert. Für heuer wird ein deutlicher Rückgang der Jahresumsätze erwartet – im Durchschnitt um 20%. Die Unternehmen rechnen nicht damit, diese Einbußen 2021 ausgleichen zu können. Mehr als die Hälfte der Unternehmen geben an, sechs Monate oder länger überstehen zu können, wenn die derzeitigen Maßnahmen zur Eindämmung der COVID-19-Pandemie in Kraft bleiben, allerdings geben rund 35% eine Frist von nur drei Monaten oder weniger an. Die staatlichen Unterstützungsleistungen werden von den meisten Unternehmen als hilfreich oder sehr hilfreich angesehen.
