Ein Tourismus-Satellitenkonto für Oberösterreich. Ökonomische Zusammenhänge, Methoden und Hauptergebnisse 2016

Abstract

Der Tourismus ist ein wichtiger Wirtschaftsfaktor für Oberösterreich: Die Gesamtaufwendungen für Urlaubs- und Geschäftsreisen, Verwandten- und Bekanntenbesuche sowie Aufenthalte in Wochenendhäusern und an Zweitwohnsitzen erreichten 2016 laut dem von Statistik Austria und WIFO entwickelten regionalen Tourismus-Satellitenkonto 3,66 Mrd. € (+4,8% gegenüber dem Vorjahr). Davon entfielen 71,9% auf inländische Reisende, 27,7% auf ausländische Reisende und 0,4% auf die Ausgaben im Zuge von Aufenthalten in Wochenend- und Zweitwohnungen. Die direkte Wertschöpfung des Tourismus einschließlich der Dienst- und Geschäftsreisen lag 2016 bei 2,42 Mrd. € (+5,2%; einschließlich Gütersteuern und Gütersubventionen) und erreichte wie im Jahr davor einen Anteil am Bruttoregionalprodukt von 4,0%. Zusammen mit den indirekten Effekten trug der Tourismus in Oberösterreich 4,4% zur regionalen Gesamtwirtschaft bei (2015: 4,3%).
