Abstract

The Austrian construction industry will only grow moderately over the next few years. Especially in 2012, growth is hampered by the macroeconomic environment. New residential and non-residential construction, as well as renovation activities will be the main drivers of the recovery until 2014. Civil engineering is expected to stagnate throughout the forecast horizon. The Euroconstruct Country Report for Austria gives in-depth information on the Austrian construction market until 2014. It covers in detail the housing market, the non-residential sector and civil engineering. Additionally, essential background information and an overview of the macroeconomic situation are provided.
