Ein Tourismus-Satellitenkonto für Oberösterreich. Ökonomische Zusammenhänge, Methoden und Hauptergebnisse 2008

Abstract

Der Tourismus spielt in der oberösterreichischen Volkswirtschaft eine bedeutende Rolle: Laut dem von Statistik Austria und WIFO entwickelten regionalen Tourismus-Satellitenkonto für Oberösterreich erreichten die Gesamtausgaben für Urlaubs- und Geschäftsreisen, Verwandten- und Bekanntenbesuche sowie für Aufenthalte in Wochenendhäusern und Zweitwohnungen 2008 3,18 Mrd. € (+7,7%). Davon entfielen 74,4% auf inländische und 25,2% auf ausländische Reisende sowie 0,4% auf die Ausgaben der inländischen Reisenden im Zuge von Aufenthalten in Wochenendhäusern bzw. an Zweitwohnsitzen. Das Volumen der direkten Wertschöpfungseffekte des Tourismus betrug in Oberösterreich 1,50 Mrd. € (+6,3%); dies entspricht rein rechnerisch einem Anteil am Bruttoregionalprodukt von 3,2%. Der Beitrag der direkten und indirekten Wertschöpfung des Tourismus zur oberösterreichischen Gesamtwirtschaft erreichte 2008 auf Basis der Input-Output-Tabelle 2005 6,3%.
