Ein Tourismus-Satellitenkonto für Niederösterreich. Ökonomische Zusammenhänge, Methoden und Hauptergebnisse 2007

Abstract

Der Tourismus spielt in der niederösterreichischen Volkswirtschaft eine bedeutende Rolle: Laut dem von Statistik Austria und WIFO entwickelten regionalen Tourismus-Satellitenkonto für Niederösterreich erreichten die Gesamtausgaben für Urlaubs- und Geschäftsreisen, Verwandten- und Bekanntenbesuche sowie Aufenthalte in Wochenendhäusern und Zweitwohnungen im Jahr 2007 3,02 Mrd. € (+6,9% gegenüber dem Vorjahr). Davon entfielen 65,0% auf inländische Reisende, 23,7% auf ausländische Gäste und 11,3% auf die Aufwendungen inländischer Reisender im Zuge ihres Aufenthaltes am Zweitwohnsitz. Die direkten Wertschöpfungseffekte des Tourismus betrugen in Niederösterreich 1,27 Mrd. € (+6,6%); dies entspricht rein rechnerisch einem Anteil am Bruttoregionalprodukt von 3,0%. Der Beitrag der direkten und indirekten Tourismuswertschöpfung zur regionalen Gesamtwirtschaft lag 2007 auf Basis der Input-Output-Tabelle 2000 bei 6,8% und blieb damit gegenüber 2006 unverändert.
