Ein Tourismus-Satellitenkonto für Oberösterreich. Ökonomische Zusammenhänge, Methoden und Hauptergebnisse 2007

Abstract

Der Tourismus spielt in der oberösterreichischen Volkswirtschaft eine bedeutende Rolle: Laut dem von Statistik Austria und Österreichischem Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung entwickelten regionalen Tourismus-Satellitenkonto für Oberösterreich erreichten die Gesamtausgaben für Urlaubs- und Geschäftsreisen, Verwandten- und Bekanntenbesuche sowie Aufenthalte in Wochenendhäusern und Zweitwohnungen 2007 3,23 Mrd. €. Davon entfielen 73,3% auf inländische Reisende, 23,1% auf ausländische Besucher und 3,6% auf die Ausgaben der Inländer im Zuge von Aufenthalten in Wochenendhäusern bzw. an Zweitwohnsitzen. Das Volumen der direkten Wertschöpfungseffekte des Tourismus betrug 1,41 Mrd. €; dies entspricht rein rechnerisch einem Anteil am Bruttoregionalprodukt von 3,2%. Der Beitrag der direkten und indirekten Wertschöpfung des Tourismus zur oberösterreichischen Gesamtwirtschaft erreichte 2007 auf Basis der Input-Output-Tabelle 2000 7,0%.
