Abstract

Das österreichische Außenwirtschaftsjahrbuch ist eine kompakte und informative Zusammenstellung der wesentlichen globalen und Österreich-spezifischen außenhandelsrelevanten Entwicklungen. Es wird heuer zum zweiten Mal vom Kompetenzzentrum "Forschungsschwerpunkt Internationale Wirtschaft" (FIW) herausgegeben. Auftraggeber ist das Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Arbeit. "Österreichs Außenwirtschaft 2008" bietet der wirtschaftlich interessierten Leserschaft zahlreiche Analysen und umfangreiches Datenmaterial zu den institutionellen und konjunkturellen Rahmenbedingungen des Welthandels, zum österreichischen Waren- und Dienstleistungshandel und den ausländischen Direktinvestitionen von und nach Österreich. Der Schwerpunkt des Buches liegt auf den Entwicklungen des Jahres 2007, darüber hinaus wird ein Ausblick auf die Jahre 2008 und 2009 gegeben, auch unter Berücksichtigung der aktuellen Finanzkrise.
