Ein Tourismus-Satellitenkonto für Wien. Ökonomische Zusammenhänge, Methoden und Hauptergebnisse 2006

Abstract

Der Tourismus spielt in der Wiener Volkswirtschaft eine bedeutende Rolle: Laut dem von Statistik Austria und dem WIFO entwickelten regionalen Tourismus-Satellitenkonto für Wien erreichten die Gesamtausgaben für Urlaubs- und Geschäftsreisen, Verwandten- und Bekanntenbesuche sowie Aufenthalte in Wochenendhäusern und Zweitwohnungen 2006 4,00 Mrd. €. Davon entfielen 50,4% auf ausländische Gäste, 45,9% auf inländische Reisende und 3,7% auf die Ausgaben von inländischen Reisenden in Wochenendhäusern und Zweitwohnungen. Die direkten Wertschöpfungseffekte des Tourismus betrugen 1,36 Mrd. €; dies entspricht rein rechnerisch einem Anteil am Bruttoregionalprodukt von 1,9%. Der direkte und indirekte Wertschöpfungsanteil des Tourismus machte in Wien 2006 auf Basis der Input-Output-Tabelle 2000 5,7% aus (2002 revidiert 5,2%).
