Abstract

Der Programmschwerpunkt 4 "Flexibilität auf dem Arbeitsmarkt" fördert betriebliche Weiterbildungsaktivitäten. Die in Österreich einzigartige Initiative bietet einen Anreiz für Unternehmen, ihr Personal im Rahmen von längerfristigen Qualifizierungsplänen weiterzubilden. Anhand der Ergebnisse einer Befragung von 756 Beschäftigten und 640 Betrieben, die eine Qualifizierungsförderung erhielten, wird untersucht, wieweit die Weiterbildungsbeteiligung benachteiligter Beschäftigtengruppen und die betrieblichen Weiterbildungsstrategien dadurch verbessert werden konnten. Die Analysen umfassen die Weiterbildungssituation im Betrieb, die Weiterbildungsbeteiligung und den Maßnahmenzugang verschiedener Personengruppen sowie die Qualität der geförderten Weiterbildungsmaßnahmen und die Qualifizierungseffekte aus der Sicht der Beschäftigten und der Betriebe.
