Abstract

Die ESF-Interventionen setzen über das traditionelle Instrumentarium der aktiven Arbeitsmarktpolitik hinausreichende Impulse. Die Verknüpfung von Arbeitsmarkt- und Bildungspolitik durch die Einbeziehung des BMBWK im Programmschwerpunkt 3 ist ein wichtiger Schritt zur Entwicklung einer Strategie des lebensbegleitenden Lernens in Österreich. Unterstützt werden die schulische Erstausbildung, die Erwachsenenbildung, aber auch Maßnahmen zur Förderung von Forschung, Wissenschaft und Technologie. Wie die Sonderevaluierung des IHS zeigt, liegt der Fokus auf der Stärkung von informations- und kommunikationstechnologischen Qualifikationen im Rahmen der Erstausbildung. In den folgenden Programmjahren wird darauf zu achten sein, dass daraus nicht eine Benachteiligung der Bereiche Erwachsenenbildung und Wissenschaft resultiert.
