Mittelfristige Beschäftigungsprognose für Oberösterreich. Berufliche und sektorale Veränderungen bis 2008

Abstract

Der Strukturwandel einer Wirtschaft, wie er sich auch in Oberösterreich vollzieht, hat Konsequenzen für den Arbeitsmarkt und die Berufsstruktur. Die Änderung der Nachfrage nach beruflichen Qualifikationen entsteht sowohl durch den Wandel der Branchenstruktur als auch durch Verschiebungen der Bedeutung einzelner Berufe innerhalb der Branchen. Der Prozess der Anpassung an neue Berufsprofile beansprucht längere Zeit und stellt hohe Anforderungen an Arbeitskräfte und Betriebe wie auch an die Institutionen im Bereich Bildung, Innovation, Struktur- und Arbeitsmarktpolitik. Für eine erfolgreiche Arbeitsmarkt- und Bildungspolitik ist es daher von grundlegender Bedeutung, künftige Entwicklungen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt rechtzeitig abschätzen zu können. Die vorliegende Prognose für Oberösterreich bis ins Jahr 2008 leistet einen Beitrag dazu. Methodisch baut sie auf ökonometrischen Modellen sowohl der österreichischen als auch der oberösterreichischen Wirtschaft auf. Die Beschäftigungsprognosen sind in 34 Branchengruppen und 61 Berufsgruppen gegliedert.
