Abstract

Die Nachbarschaft zu Ost-Mitteleuropa legt es nahe, dass die österreichische Landwirtschaft von der Erweiterung besonders berührt sein wird. Die Folgen der Integration sind in gewissen Grenzen gestaltbar. Ein gutes Ergebnis der Beitrittsverhandlungen und die Förderung der Wettbewerbskraft und Anpassungsfähigkeit der Agrar- und Ernährungswirtschaft stärken die Position der heimischen Bauern.
