Prognose für 2012 und 2013: Euro-Raum vorübergehend in der Rezession

Abstract

Die Wirtschaft befindet sich im Euro-Raum zur Zeit in einer Rezession. Ab der Jahresmitte dürfte die Konjunktur jedoch wieder Tritt fassen. Allerdings wird die Dynamik angesichts der Sparbemühungen in den öffentlichen Haushalten vieler Länder verhalten bleiben. Die exportorientierte Wirtschaft von Deutschland und Österreich erhält zwar abermals verstärkt Wachstumsimpulse aus dem außereuropäischen Ausland, jedoch wird auch sie von der verhaltenen Entwicklung im Euro-Raum belastet. In Österreich wird das BIP 2012 um 0,4% expandieren. 2013 gibt zwar der Außenhandel der Wirtschaft erneut Schwung, jedoch schmälern fiskalische Konsolidierungsbemühungen die Zuwachsraten. Das BIP wird dann um real 1,4% steigen. Die Entwicklung der Rohölpreise verhindert einen zügigen Rückgang der Inflationsrate.
