Prognose für 2007 und 2008: Konjunktur bleibt robust – Industrie und Bauwirtschaft bestimmen die Dynamik

Abstract

Der Konjunkturaufschwung, der 2005 in Gang kam, hält heuer an. Nach einem Wirtschaftswachstum von 3,1% im Jahr 2006 ist 2007 mit einem realen Anstieg des BIP von 3,2% zu rechnen. Während die Exportdynamik leicht nachlässt, gewinnt die Investitionsnachfrage an Kraft und übernimmt die tragende Rolle im Aufschwung. Der Konsum der privaten Haushalte nimmt heuer zwar zu, bleibt aber nach wie vor hinter seiner konjunkturtypischen Entwicklung zurück. Das hohe Wirtschaftswachstum ermöglicht eine deutliche Ausweitung der Beschäftigung und lässt die Arbeitslosigkeit weiter zurückgehen. Im Jahr 2008 dürfte es sich aufgrund des Anstiegs der langfristigen Zinsen, der Stärke des Euro und des Nachlassens der Konjunktur in den USA auf 2,5% verlangsamen.
