Prognose für 2006 bis 2008: Konjunkturdynamik bleibt hoch – Wachstum verlangsamt sich erst 2008

Abstract

Österreichs Wirtschaft profitiert 2006 zusätzlich vom Konjunkturaufschwung in Europa. Der dadurch ausgelöste Wachstumsimpuls ging im Jahresverlauf auf die Investitionsnachfrage über. Auch 2007 belebt die Binnennachfrage die Konjunktur, allerdings dämpft die Gegenbewegung nach den positiven Sondereffekten des Jahres 2006 das Wirtschaftswachstum. Im Jahr 2008 dürfte die Konjunktur in Europa nachlassen. Dennoch wird die österreichische Wirtschaft stärker wachsen als der Durchschnitt des Euro-Raums. Die heimische Fiskalpolitik ist im Hinblick auf die Konjunkturlage expansiv.
