Prognose für 2005 und 2006: Erhöhte Konjunkturrisken

Abstract

Bezüglich des weiteren Konjunkturverlaufs im Euro-Raum bestehen große Unsicherheiten. Die Export- und Gewinnsteigerungen lösten bisher noch keine entsprechende Ausweitung von Investitionen und privatem Konsum aus. Einen weiteren Risikofaktor bildet der hohe Erdölpreis. In Österreich entwickelt sich die Wirtschaft dank positiver Impulse von der Steuerreform günstiger als im Euro-Raum. Sie wird 2005 und 2006 um jeweils etwa 2¼% wachsen. Die Arbeitslosenquote dürfte jedoch nicht zurückgehen, da das Arbeitskräfteangebot außerordentlich stark steigt.
