Prognose für 2005 und 2006: Hoher Euro-Kurs bremst Konjunkturerholung

Abstract

Die österreichische Wirtschaft wuchs 2004 dank der regen Exportdynamik um rund 2%. In den Jahren 2005 und 2006 dürfte das Wachstum etwa 2¼% betragen; 2005 trägt die zweite Etappe der Steuerreform dazu bei; für2006 wird eine leichte Belebung der Wirtschaft im Euro-Raum erwartet. Bedeutende Unsicherheiten bestehen jedoch bezüglich der Entwicklung des Euro-Kurses: Ein weiterer Anstieg könnte die Konjunkturerholung im Euro-Raum stärker bremsen.
